Core Centaur Two Hybride Monoblock Power Amplifier

Hand made HIGH END monoblock power amplifier. It is a hybrid design in which we ended up after many years research in the output stages of the amplifiers. The output stage consists of 12 bipolar transistor,200 watt each, which can deliver a huge amount of power into your speakers and the current can reach about 20 amps into 2 ohm load. Two mosfet drive these bipolar transistor. The mosfets ensures very high input resistance and is a very easy load for the 6SN7 tube which is the only voltage amplification stage for the amplifier. The simplicity of all the circuitry ensures high speed and dynamics that will surprise yow. When turn on the amplifier allow to warm up at least 15 minutes before using it in your audio chain. The tube and other circuitry need time to reach an electronic equilibrium before they will operate at optimal specifications.

Connections

INPUT : One RCA and one XLR for balanced or unbalanced
switchable connection.
OUTPUT: Two binding posts one red(+) and one black(-).

Input transformer LUNDAHL Ll1674 with amorphous core
Voltage gain with one 6SN7 tube in mu follower configuration with very good linear response and very low output resistance.
Output stage with 12 power transistor MJL1302 and MJL3281, 200 volt 200 watt 15 ampere each. This ensures very low output resistance (a few miliohms) and high DAMPING FACTOR .
Power supply with 80000 mf capacitor bank and 1000VA UI shape hand made power transformer. Zero overall negative feedback having as a result high speed and transients without distortion.

POWER OUTPUT: 250 Watts 8 ohm load, 450 Watts 4 ohm and 700 Watts in 2 ohm load.
